Carmel Market, Tel Aviv Israel.

Carmel Market, Tel Aviv Israel. (Shuk Ha’Carmel)

Where culture and Flavor mix.

This was my favorite stop on my tour of Israel. Canopy of tents with music and life, filled with aromas that your nose can’t take in enough. To take in the smells alone is sensory overload. Culture and flavors meet under these canvas-covered tents thriving with life. To do your shopping in this market of freshly grown food bursting with flavor is truly a treat. It’s safe to say I ate my way through this culinary gem.

You will truly get a taste of all Israel has to offer in this market, not to mention art and culture combined.

A bakers dream.

A combination of Israeli and Middle Eastern cultures offer explosions of flavors and a variety of options.

Come hungry, and don’t be afraid to negotiate.

“Live life with a little spice.”

Of course, you can fill your tourist needs and buy any souvenirs out there. But the bread, cheese and spices are the real gems of this market. Try something new or stock up on your kitchen staples. You can find anything you need to make the best food your culinary mind can handle. Take it all in.
